Accomplishments:
- Current assignments involve design, development and production for projects including proposals, operations manuals, user guides, job aids, training materials and technical & procedural documentation.
- A recent assignment for an energy corporation involved design and technical writing. Organizational changes made it imperative to capture best practices supplementing software user guides with hands-on user experience learnings, unpublished work-around's, shortcuts and trouble-shooting procedures.
- A recent assignment for a telecom corporation started out with graphic design responsibilities for presentations. Shortly thereafter responsibilities expanded to include documentation, presentation and print materials for internal and external clients including governance team working in conjunction with my own employees, consultant groups and client SME's. Specific technical writing and editing assignments included technical reference manuals and user guides for a newly acquired software system, the main component of an internal initiative.
- Successfully completed consulting assignment developing materials and on-going support resources to streamline business processes for an end client.
- Team lead for communications materials produced for telecom internal initiative. Created and produced documentation, presentation and print materials for internal and external clients including governance team. Created, developed and produced massive intranet support web site containing module overviews, training & development learning aids (CBT, WBT, ILT) and operations manuals working in conjunction with employees, consultant groups and client SMEs.
- Key role supporting operational experts, deployment specialists, charismatic trainers, and program developers. Areas of interaction included deployment, executive, finance, human resources, legal, operations and training & development.
- Managed, produced and developed all recruiting, product and sales promotion materials for nineteen different operating companies in addition to investor presentations for an $11 billion (assets) corporation with $1 billion annual sales.
